SEREMBAN (Sept 7): Police discovered a case in which a piece of 7-hectare plot worth some RM24 million belonging to a company was fraudulently transferred to another man’s name, reported The Star.

State commercial crime chief Supt Aibee Ab Ghani said the company discovered this during a routine check in June and found out that the land was transferred to an individual’s name with a payment of RM1.8 million on Jan 14, 2020.

According to the report, preliminary checks also discovered that the signatures of the company's two directors found on the documents had been falsified and they couldn’t get contact with the legal firm that was involved in this transaction.

He said police are now looking for a 50-year old man named Tay Hock Seng, from Sg Bakap in Kedah to help in its probe.

Meanwhile, police are also looking at a 41-year old man named Lee Chee Boon from Penang, to assist in the investigation of another land fraud case in Port Dickson.

For those who know their whereabouts could contact ASP Rosmaliah Khalit at 013 9443968 or 06-768 2222.
