KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 13): Kumpulan Jetson Bhd rose as much as 1.5 sen or 5% after the builder said it secured a RM76.35 million subcontract to build two blocks of serviced apartments in Bukit Jalil here.

Kumpulan Jetson shares rose to their highest so far today at 32.5 sen.

At 9:39am, the stock was traded at 31.5 sen with 910,700 shares transacted

Kumpulan Jetson told Bursa Malaysia yesterday its 51%-owned subsidiary Jetson ARDC Sdn Bhd had accepted the letter of award from China State Construction Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd to undertake the project.

Kumpulan Jetson said: "The project is expected to contribute positively to the earnings of the group for the financial years ending 2017 to 2020." — theedgemarkets.com
