Exsim Hospitality secures RM13m interior design contract for D’Velada project in Bukit Jalil

• Under the contract, Exsim Concepto will serve as the nominated sub-contractor for interior design works covering common areas and unit carpentry for the 42-level serviced apartment, which features 508 residential units, three strata shop units, and various facilities.

KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 21): Exsim Hospitality Bhd (KL:EXSIMHB), formerly known as Pan Malaysia Holdings Bhd, has secured a RM13 million contract for interior design works at the D’Velada serviced apartment development in Bukit Jalil.

According to a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the company’s wholly owned subsidiary, Exsim Concepto Sdn Bhd, accepted the letter of appointment from building manager Taghill Projects Sdn Bhd on Friday.

Under the contract, Exsim Concepto will serve as the nominated sub-contractor for interior design works covering common areas and unit carpentry for the 42-level serviced apartment, which features 508 residential units, three strata shop units, and various facilities.

The project is expected to be completed within 13 months, with a targeted completion date of March 20, 2026.

Another RM3m renovation contract secured

Separately, Exsim Hospitality announced that Exsim Concepto had also secured another contract worth RM3 million for renovation works at MBF Tower, Penang, in a related party transaction.

The contract, which involves the fit-out of a sales gallery and show units, was awarded by a related company Exsim Waterfront Sdn Bhd. The job is targeted for completion by April 28, 2025.

Exsim Hospitality disclosed that several of its major shareholders, including Lim Aik Hoe, Lim Aik Kiat, and Lim Aik Fu, hold indirect stakes in both Exsim Hospitality and Exsim Waterfront through Exsim Development Sdn Bhd and Exsim Hospitality Holdings Sdn Bhd.

Shares of the Main Market-listed company closed unchanged at 38 sen on Friday, valuing the company at RM352.97 million. Over the past one year, the stock has surged by over 190%.
