KUALA LUMPUR (April 25): Taghill Holdings Bhd (KL:TAGHILL), formerly known as Siab Holdings Bhd, announced on Friday that it has secured a RM494 million construction contract in Bandar Sri Damansara, Selangor.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, it said Taghill Projects Sdn Bhd (TPSB), a subsidiary of Taghill, has received a letter of award (LOA) from Indo Aman Bina Sdn Bhd (IAB) to construct two 55-storey serviced apartment blocks, a 14-storey parking podium and shared facilities.

The contract lasts 40 months, with completion expected by July 9, 2028. TPSB must provide a performance bond of RM24.73 million as security.

The project is expected to positively impact Taghill's earnings and assets for the financial year ending May 31, 2025.

This is Taghill's third contract this year.

It won a RM58 million job to construct an 18-storey commercial complex in Ipoh, Perak, and a RM152 million contract for a commercial strata scheme in Kuantan, Pahang.

Taghill’s shares, which have fallen more than 29% year-to-date, closed unchanged at 8.5 sen on Friday, giving the company a market capitalisation of RM132.3 million.
