In a statement on Tuesday, Housing Minister Datuk Seri Reezal Merican Naina Merican said the appointment is a strategic initiative aimed at obtaining the views and suggestions of the stakeholders of the housing sector from various backgrounds including former senior government officials, academics, professionals, researchers, legal experts, developers, home buyers’ associations, bankers and representatives of the Malaysian Youth Council.

According to a statement on Jan 10 (Monday), the RM350 million medical centre — known as Sunway Medical Centre Ipoh — will have 200 beds and it will open in 2024 to cater for the city’s growing population and serve the increased demand for tertiary medical care through a comprehensive cancer centre by focusing on women’s health and wellness lifestyle medicine.

A spokesman for Causeway Link told the daily that demand is high but the Malaysian bus operator is not allowed to release more tickets, as stipulated by the government.
