IT was a cool and sunny day in Melbourne as we made our way to the topping-out ceremony of the two-tower Fulton Lane, S P Setia Bhd’s maiden project in Australia. The rite was to mark the beginning of the completion of the development. The 28-storey block is expected to be completed in December while the 45-storey block will be ready next March.

TOURISM is a major contributor to Sabah’s economy. At present, almost 100 international direct flights connect Sabah with major destinations, such as Kuala Lumpur, Seoul, Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Taipei, Brunei, Singapore, Jakarta and Manila.

FROM ITS lush rainforest and spectacular sunsets to its white sandy beaches and scenic mountain range, it is easy to see why Sabah has become a world destination for tourism. Last year, Sabah welcomed more than 3.3 million tourists, with receipts of RM3.069 billion from international travellers and RM3.615 billion from locals.
