This means that the red zones have expanded further in the Klang Valley, where there are now 11 health districts with more than 40 confirmed Covid-19 positive cases.
He also denied the accusations of a private doctor who reportedly claimed that the authorities had failed to protect the healthcare workers and frontliners because of a shortage of personal protective equipment or PPEs.
Meanwhile, one fatality was reported today, resulting in a total of 63 deaths from the disease.

Based on an MoH infographic, Hulu Langat has the highest number of infections so far with 265 cases, while Lembah Pantai has 238 cases, placing them in the red zone category.
In a statement, health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah also reported six new deaths.
