Reapfield celebrates 40 years of success

• Reapfield grew its value of transaction in comparison with 2023 by 30% and grew 6.5% in terms of volume of transactions.

PETALING JAYA (March 12): Reapfield Group celebrated its 40th anniversary recently with a gala dinner.

Established in 1984, Reapfield has gone through an award-winning four decades including Superbrands Recognition, SME Awards for Brand Excellence and FastMoving Companies, and a series of MIEA National Real Estate Awards.

Reapfield has and continues to “prove its strength in the market” with RM1.7 billion in transactions and over 3,200 transactions across sales and rentals in 2024, stated the company.

Reapfield grew its value of transaction in comparison with 2023 by 30% and grew 6.5% in terms of volume of transactions.

“Of course, the journey was not all roses,” said founder and president of Reapfield Properties, David Ong.

“We’ve experienced highs and lows, celebrated triumphs, and navigated challenges that tested our resilience. But it is through these collective experiences ㅡ the rights, wrongs, and misstepsㅡthat we’ve grown stronger and remain a thriving force in Malaysia's real estate industry. And this is just the beginning ㅡ we look forward to celebrating our 50th, 60th and even 100th anniversaries in the years to come,” he added.

A milestone was also reached when partnered with Keller Williams USA in 2019, “integrating cutting-edge technology and global best practices to enhance agent productivity and position itself for future growth”, stated Reapfield.

Since then, Reapfield was recognised with three prestigious awards in the Asia Pacific Region: #1 Region Total Closed Units, #1 Region GCI (Gross Commission Income) and #1 Region Growth Share.

The company also celebrated its agents’ exceptional performance, with more than five agents surpassing the million-dollar commission mark.

Notably, Tony Ong, Reapfield’s Champion Agent for 2024, closed a staggering 232 transactions, comprising 45 sales over RM75 million sales value and 187 rental deals. “There aren't many real estate agencies that have thrived for 40 years,” said immediate past president of the Malaysian Institute of Estate Agents (MIEA), Chan Ai Cheng at the event. “Many names have faded from the marketplace, but Reapfield remains relevant and respected in the communities it serves. My heartiest congratulations to Reapfield on this momentous occasion,” she added.
