The application was filed by Messrs Amelda Fuad Abi & Aidil at the High Court today with an affidavit in support by the Malaysian Muslim Lawyers Association’s secretary-general Ridha Abdah Subri.
The defence closed its case on Sept 3, with Justice Mohd Nazlan Mohd Ghazali initially fixing today for oral submissions. A total of six defence witnesses, including Isa, testified in the trial, while 15 prosecution witnesses gave evidence.
This is confirmed by counsel Americk Sidhu, who represents Rewcastle Brown and the publishers.
