SHAH ALAM (Aug 8): Gagasan Nadi Cergas Bhd (KL:NADIBHD) and Permodalan Negeri Selangor Bhd (PNSB) are on track to deliver over 15,000 Idaman affordable housing units over seven projects by 2030, according to Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari in the key handover ceremony for the RM304 million Rumah Idaman Bukit Jelutong on Friday. 

These projects are located in Kwasa Damansara, City of Elmina and Bandar Rimbayu. Together with Rumah Idaman Bukit Jelutong, the total gross development value (GDV) for all eight projects is RM4 billion.

There are three projects in Kwasa Damansara: Idaman Kwasa Damansara R4-1 (GDV: RM453.1 million), Kwasa Damansara R4-2 (GDV: RM849 million), and Kwasa Damansara R4-2A (GDV: RM1.15 billion). Idaman Kwasa Damansara R4-1, which will consist of 1,669 units on 13.9 acres of land, has a take-up rate of 73%. The estimated completion date is set to be in 2027. Idaman Kwasa Damansara R4-2 will consist of 3,025 units on 25.2 acres of land, and the completion date is set to be in 2029. Idaman Kwasa Damansara R4-2A, offering 4,183 units on 34.9 acres of land, will be launched after 2027, with the completion date in 2030.

The other three projects located in City of Elmina are Idaman Amani with an estimated GDV of RM279.5 million, Idaman Elmina 5 with an estimated GDV of RM134.5 million, and Idaman Elmina 12 with an estimated GDV of RM370.5 million. Idaman Elmina will have 1,063 units on 8.9 acres of land. It launched in May 2024 and is scheduled to be completed in 2028. Idaman Elmina 5 will consist of 523 units on 4.4 acres of land and is set to launch in 2025, with the completion date expected in 2027. Idaman Elmina 12 will offer 1,551 units on 12.9 acres of land. The launch date and completion date have yet to be confirmed.

The final project is in Bandar Rimbayu—the RM533.3 million Idaman Rimbayu with 1,932 units on 18.2 acres of land. It is set to launch in 2026, and to be completed in 2030.

Meanwhile, Gagasan Nadi Cergas and PNSB delivered the vacant possession to the homeowners of Rumah Indaman Bukit Jelutong in a ceremony officiated by Amirudin on Friday. 

“The implementation of the projects was successfully achieved without involving any allocations from the state government,” said Amuridin.

Launched in 2022 and completed in June 2025, the residential development offers 1,260 units on 10.5 acres of land. In attendance at the event were PNSB chief executive officer Raja Ahmad Shahrir Iskandar Raja Salim, Gagasan Nadi Cergas chairman Muhamad Fuad Abdullah, Selangor state executive council member for housing and culture Datuk Borhan Aman Shah, and MBI group CEO Datuk Saipolyazan Mat Yusop.
