PETALING JAYA (Dec 16): Quayside Mall at Gamuda Land’s twentyfive.7 township in Kota Kemuning, Selangor is on track to open its doors in June 2020.

“With 699,290 safe man hours recorded to date, the construction is on schedule and the mall will be ready to serve the first phase of twentyfive.7 community which is expected to move in starting June 2020,” said the developer in a press release following the topping-up ceremony today to mark the completion of the mall’s building structure.

The lifestyle mall is expected to have 107 retail outlets spread over its 328,153 sq ft net lettable area. it will also have about 1,300 car park bays.

“To us, malls are not just retail spaces. Malls can be experiential spaces filled with various entertainment, services and activities that enhance the overall shopping experience. Positioned as a ‘Community Curator’, a good tenancy mix was carefully established to include popular F&B outlets, bars, beauty and wellness, cinema, fitness centre and more,” Gamuda Land Director of Leasing, Retail and Malls Herbie Tan said at the ceremony today.

He added that the Quayside Mall is poised to be the catalyst that creates sustainable value for the community in the area, generating constant footfall to twentyfive.7.

Also present at the ceremony were Gamuda Land COO Aw Sei Cheh, general manager of twentyfive.7 Chu Wai Lune as well as well as Kuala Langat District Council director of development planning Arpaai Sanat.

Currently, Quayside Mall has secured a 70% occupancy rate with about 40 tenants ranging from F&B, entertainment, fashion, grocery, pharmacy, bakery & cafe to hobby & lifestyle, featuring both international and local brands.

Most notably, the mall will house MBO Cinemas, which will take up 45,000 sq ft of space with nine halls.

 

Apart from the upcoming Quayside Mall, the 257-acre twentyfive.7 also features The Buzz.ar, a hangout place with eateries, pet grooming and children’s play area; The Lake, featuring Aurora Rhythms musical fountain; The Field, a FIFA standard football field; and The Loop, a pet friendly jogging and cycling circuit.

To complement the existing active lifestyle concept, Quayside Mall will also have a rooftop swimming academy and an indoor basketball court.

“Beyond location, design and quality of our developments, we also invest upfront in strategic placemaking and advance completion of infrastructure as well as public spaces, such as the Quayside Mall, the central park and lakes, providing long term value creation for the community,” said Aw.
