AmBank grants RM307m in financing to Chin Hin Group for infrastructure projects

KUALA LUMPUR (April 10): AmBank Group has granted RM307 million in financing facilities to Chin Hin Group Bhd’s (KL:CHINHIN) subsidiaries, Aricia Sdn Bhd and Makna Setia Sdn Bhd, to support several new property and infrastructure developments in the Klang Valley and Sabah and Sarawak.

In a joint statement on Thursday, AmBank and Chin Hin said the strategic collaboration marks a significant milestone in advancing urban and infrastructure development in these regions.

“The financing will support the development of Aricia Residences @ Sungai Besi, a residential project with a gross development value of RM467 million.

“It will also fund a freehold mixed-use development in Bandar Kinrara, spanning 1.38 hectares and comprising two residential towers and a retail hub,” the statement added.

They said the financing will also support civil infrastructure works in Sabah and Sarawak to boost regional connectivity and economic growth.

AmBank Group business banking managing director Christopher Yap said these developments align with the bank’s commitment to fostering sustainable growth.
