KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 25): Gamuda Land, the property arm of Gamuda Bhd (KL:GAMUDA), announced in a Feb 24 statement that all 400 landed Park Home units of The Clove Phase 1 were taken up across its three township developments in Selangor, namely Gamuda Cove in Sepang, Gamuda Gardens in Kundang, and twentyfive7 in Telok Panglima Garang.
The Clove, which is introduced under Gamuda Land's new Park Homes housing typology that was unveiled last year, features cluster-of-eight homes arranged around a private gated garden. The house typology, which aims to blend terraced and semidee living, offers more space for greenery and outdoor areas.
With a combined gross development value of RM418 million, Phase 1 of The Clove offers homes with built-ups ranging from 1,971 to 2,284 sq ft at an average selling price of RM900,000.
“The Clove represents the result of extensive research and thoughtful design. We took the time to truly understand the needs and desires of Malaysians through a nationwide survey, which revealed the key pain points and aspirations that we’ve addressed in the design of The Clove. This home goes beyond the traditional concept, offering the perfect balance of space, customisation and connectivity, all while integrating advanced technology,” said Gamuda Land chief operating officer Jess Teng in the statement.
According to the statement, buyers of The Clove could customise their space through the developer's GL Connect portal that is powered by Generative AI as well as receive personalised room configuration recommendations — ranging from one to three bedrooms — based on their lifestyle preferences. It added that this customisation comes at no additional cost, and buyers pay the same price for their home regardless of their chosen layout. It said that flexibility aims to help homeowners avoid costly post-renovation expenses, such as hacking walls to add or remove rooms.
“Through our GL Connect platform, we’ve made it easier for buyers to personalise their homes, ensuring it fits their lifestyle perfectly. The success of The Clove is a testament to how listening to our customers and delivering innovative solutions based on their real needs creates a meaningful, impactful homebuying experience,” said Tang.
“Initially, many potential buyers were not able to visualise this new typology as it wasn’t something already available on the market. But since the exclusive preview of the show units at Gamuda Cove and Gamuda Gardens, the response has been overwhelmingly positive. When people could experience the actual space, they truly understood the value and benefits of this innovative home design. It’s exciting to see the concept gain such acceptance, and we look forward to seeing this success continue as we launch the next phase,” she added.
The Clove show units are available at Gamuda Cove and Gamuda Gardens.
