PETALING JAYA (April 11): DC Healthcare Holdings Bhd is acquiring a three-storey end-lot shoplot in Puchong, Selangor, for RM8 million to secure a permanent office space and reduce reliance on leased premises.

According to its exchange filing on Wednesday, the property is being purchased from Ahmad Fuad Ismail and it comprises two individual titles with a combined land area of approximately 401.33 sq m.

DC Healthcare said the purchase aligns with its goal to optimise long-term operational costs by eliminating rental expenses and ensuring operational stability.

“By owning the office, we aim to enhance cost efficiency, ensure operational stability with full control over our facilities and mitigate risks related to lease renewals or fluctuating rental rates,” it said in a statement.

The move also supports the company’s vision for future expansion, offering greater flexibility for growth and scalability.

The acquisition will be funded through a combination of internally-generated funds and bank borrowings, though the exact breakdown has yet to be finalised. The deal is expected to be completed within three months, barring unforeseen circumstances.

While the acquisition is not expected to have a significant impact on financials for the year ending Dec 31, 2025, it is anticipated to strengthen the company’s long-term operational and financial stability.
