KUALA LUMPUR: Sapura Resources Bhd, a company under the Bursa Malaysia property index, saw its net profit in third quarter ended Oct 31, 2009 (3QFY2010) surged more than threefold to RM2.55 million, from RM565,000 a year earlier, on higher revenue.
Its revenue increased 12% to RM61.87 million, from RM55.27 million, due to the increase in the number of students in the group’s education business.
Its basic earnings per share increased to 1.83 sen. No dividend was declared.
