KUALA LUMPUR: Golden Plus Holdings Bhd saw its net profit for 1Q ending March 31, 2010, increase by 136% to RM3.8 million from RM1.6 million over the same quarter last year due to higher sales in the current quarter.
In a filling with Bursa Malaysia, the property development company posted a revenue increase of 181% to RM90.56 million in 1Q2010 from RM32.17 million in 1Q2009, which mainly came from Phase 2 of the Royal Garden development in Shanghai, China. Earnings per share stood at 2.61 sen for 1Q2010 from 1.11 sen in the same quarter the previous year.
Golden Plus said it would continue its efforts on the current development and views that its 2Q for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2010, would be satisfactory.
