PETALING JAYA (April 12): Sime Darby Property Bhd’s Elmina Valley Phase 2, which comprises 2-storey linked homes, saw a take-up rate of 94% since its launch last Saturday.
A total of 290 units out of 309 residential homes were taken up on the day of the launch with about 700 people showing up on that day.
Elmina Valley Phase 2 comprises two types of 2-storey linked houses – 20 ft by 70 ft (Type A) and 22 ft by 80 ft (Type B) with built-ups from 1,855 sq ft.
The Type B houses have a double frontage design which offers views of landscaped gardens.
They also feature a dual-key concept with a single bedroom and bathroom separated from the main house.
According to Sime Darby Property managing director Datuk Jauhari Hamidi, the houses feature an open-plan floor layout, with modern and classic style elements through brick pattern designs.
“Once again, we thank our customers for their confidence in our products and in the potential of our development. We are also aiming to continue this strong performance with other developments in our portfolio and to achieve our sales target of over RM2.5 billion by the end of the financial year,” said Jauhari in a press release.
“The response also reflects the strong demand for residential products within the RM600,000 price range presented by Sime Darby Property as can be seen when we launched the first phase of Elmina Valley in February which recorded a 95% take-up rate within a day,” Jauhari added.
To date, phase one of Elmina Valley is 97% taken up with 11 units remaining, Jauhari told TheEdgeProperty.com.
Elmina Valley is part of the City of Elmina which includes the townships of Denai Alam, Bukit Subang, Elmina East and Elmina West and located along the Guthrie Corridor Expressway (GCE).
The City of Elmina is 5,000 acres with a gross development value (GDV) of RM20.4 billion.
