KUALA LUMPUR: Several companies bought back shares yesterdday, listings on Bursa Malaysia on May 19 showed. Mudajaya Group Bhd bought back a total of 1,000 ordinary shares of RM0.20 each, purchased for RM5,217.56. Ken Holdings Bhd also did the same, buying a total of 10,000 shares for RM7,756.51. Brem Holdings Bhd bought back 22,000 ordinary shares of RM1 each, for RM25,781.38. Glomac Bhd in turn bought back 80,000 ordinary shares of RM1 each, for RM102,438.60.
Meanwhile, WCT Bhd announced the listing of 1.32 million new ordinary shares of RM0.50 each to the WCT-Employees’ Share Option Scheme with effect from 9.00am , Friday May 21, 2010.
In another announcement, IJM Corporation Bhd will be issuing warrants of 355,500 new ordinary shares of RM1 each that will be granted listing and quotation with effect from 9.00am, Friday May 21, 2010.
