KUALA LUMPUR: Concrete Engineering Products Bhd (CEPCO) posted a net loss of RM197,000 for the third period (3Q) ended May 31, 2010, plunging from a net profit of RM13.3 million a year ago, it announced on Bursa Malaysia.

On Wednesday, July 28, the company said its revenue declined 44.5% to RM30.12 million from RM54.3 million. The poorer performance was attributed to lower sales arising from lower construction activities in the market.

Basic losses per share stood at  0.44 sen from basic earnings per share (EPS) of 29.75 sen a year ago.
