PETALING JAYA: I&P Group Sdn Bhd latest launches of semidee and terraced homes at Bandar Kinrara, Puchong in Selangor were sold out immediately during the weekend of Oct 10-11 launch.

As in the previous launches in the same township in August, they attracted overwhelming response. This time around, the developers chose the balloting system to avoid the chaotic long queues experienced in the earlier launches.

Hundreds turned up to register for the balloting of the RM63.75 million Sapphire terraced homes on Oct 11. Sapphire comprises 104 units of 2-storey houses in Phases 7A13. It received 448 registrations in the balloting exercise.

The previous day was the launch of the RM46.57 million Oasis semidess comprising 24 units of 2-storey homes in Phase 7A24.

I&P Group managing director Datuk Jamaludin Osman was there for the launch of the Saphhire terraced houses to pick the first buyers in the ballot box. “We observed in our previous launches that there were people who stood in the queue for 10 days. We decided to go for the balloting method to avoid such incidents. The balloting method also gives homebuyers a fairer chance at owning a property,” he says.
