KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 28): Oakwood Asia Pacific Ltd will be launching its first Oakwood-branded property in the heart of Kuala Lumpur — the Oakwood Hotel & Residence Kuala Lumpur at Jalan Ampang will open its doors on Monday Oct 31.
“The opening of Oakwood Hotel & Residence Kuala Lumpur is a great opportunity to showcase the Oakwood stay experience,” said Oakwood Hotel & Residence Kuala Lumpur general manager, Gerard Sta Maria in a statement.
“Together with the elevated level of service that the brand is known for, we are positive that this property will bring another dimension to accommodation offerings in this city,” Sta Maria added.
Oakwood Hotel & Residence Kuala Lumpur has a total of 251 rooms offering amenities and facilities such as swimming pool, children’s wading pool, gym and restaurant. It combines the spacious comfort of a private home with the services of hotel-like amenities such as a 24-hour concierge and front desk services, business services, restaurant, bar, meeting rooms and high-speed Internet connection.
“The opening of Oakwood Hotel & Residence Kuala Lumpur is timely, given the needs of today’s travellers looking for a holistic guest stay experience,” said Oakwood Asia Pacific Ltd managing director, Dean Schreiber.
