PropNex Malaysia sets RM60m sales target for Property XPO 2025

• PropNex Malaysia chief executive officer Marcus Teng said the company expects more than 5,000 participants over the two-day event, a sharp increase from 1,000 attendees last year.

KUALA LUMPUR (April 23): PropNex Malaysia is aiming to generate RM60 million in sales at its upcoming Property XPO 2025, set to take place on July 26 and 27 at Connexion Conference & Event Centre (CCEC).

PropNex Malaysia chief executive officer Marcus Teng said the company expects more than 5,000 participants over the two-day event, a sharp increase from 1,000 attendees last year. The 2024 edition recorded RM38 million in post-event sales.

“We’re confident about hitting RM60 million this time. Just last month in Cheras, we recorded RM30 million in one day. That’s why we believe the target is realistic,” he told the press at the PropNex Malaysia Convention 2025 recently.

He added that the expo will focus on educating first-time buyers and investors through workshops and expert-led sessions.

“Visitors can explore exclusive property offers, attend educational keynotes, and engage in personalised advisory sessions,” he said.

Teng also added that the Property Wealth System (PWS), developed by PropNex Singapore executive director Kelvin Fong, will debut at the event.

“For the first time, the public will have access to this proven real estate wealth-building method that has helped thousands achieve financial success.

“Registered XPO attendees will also stand a chance to win an electric vehicle, making this one of the most dynamic property events of the year,” he said.

He added that the event is open to the public, with sessions conducted in business-level English. Participants will also have access to sub-sale units, auction listings, and commercial and industrial properties.

Teng noted that Chinese buyers are a key target, especially following the Ministry of Tourism’s recent announcement of visa-free entry for up to 90 days over the next five years.

“With this bilateral arrangement, China is expected to become a major market player in Malaysia. However, 60% to 70% of demand has consistently come from local buyers over the past 25 years,” he said.

He added that expatriates particularly from Singapore, continue to show strong interest in Malaysia, with many choosing to retire here.

“With the Rapid Transit System (RTS) link expected to be completed by the end of 2026, Johor is also poised for further growth driven by improved connectivity,” he said.

Meanwhile, during the convention, PropNex Malaysia recognised long-serving agents with three- and five-year service awards. The event also included an appreciation dinner for staff, blending corporate recognition with team-building.

Last year, PropNex Malaysia hosted the Malaysia Property XPO 2024 at Four Points Sheraton Hotel in Puchong. The event brought together developers, investors and buyers for a weekend of talks, deals and networking.

Attendees gained access to exclusive property promotions, industry insights, and expert-led sessions covering financing, legal matters and investment strategies.
