• Gamuda Land chief executive officer Chu Wai Lune: “This innovative integration of AI technology within our homes perfectly aligns with our commitment to providing smart, sustainable and high-quality living solutions for our residents.”

KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 14): Gamuda Land, the property arm of Gamuda Bhd (KL:GAMUDA), has started showcasing Samsung Malaysia’s Bespoke AI Home at The Camellia show unit in Gamuda Cove, Kuala Langat, according to a press statement on Tuesday (Aug 13).

In the statement, Gamuda Land chief executive officer (CEO) Chu Wai Lune said: “We are proud to be the first property developer that Samsung has partnered with to showcase their Bespoke AI Home at our 5G-enabled and ready township, Gamuda Cove. This innovative integration of AI technology within our homes perfectly aligns with our commitment to providing smart, sustainable and high-quality living solutions for our residents. By bringing cutting-edge home automation and energy-efficient appliances to our community, we are not only enhancing everyday living but also supporting a more sustainable future”.

“This partnership underscores our dedication to creating environments that cater to the dynamic lifestyles of our homeowners, making modern living both convenient and environmentally responsible,” Chu added.

The Bespoke AI Home features a variety of AI-driven home appliances by Samsung Malaysia to enhance the entertainment experience, and helps in facilitating house chores and technologies to provide cooling temperature in the units. Some of the appliances are Bixby — an AI voice assistant; The Frame — which is a customisable frame to suit individual preferences; Bespoke AI Laundry Combo, and the Windfree air-conditioner inverter one-way cassette.

“The Samsung Bespoke AI Home at The Camellia, Gamuda Cove represents our vision for the future of home appliances, unlocking new opportunities through innovations in efficiency, connectivity and personalisations. Together with Gamuda Land, we are offering homeowners a glimpse into the future of hyper-connected smart homes. This complete smart home experience demonstrates how Samsung’s AI-integrated appliances, through the power of SmartThings, enables devices to work in harmony, allowing consumers to manage their homes effortlessly and enjoy more while doing less,” said Samsung Malaysia president Denny Kim.

In addition, Chu noted that The Camellia has received a good response: “The strong market response to The Camellia, with close to 90% of phase 1 fully sold, demonstrates the success of our residential products and the high demand for quality living in Gamuda Cove”.

The Camellia, launched in February this year, comprises 174 units of two-storey, semi-detached homes and has a gross development value of RM334 million. It features three types of layout — Type A (2,600 sq ft), Type B (3,055 sq ft), and Type C (3,200 sq ft). The selling price will start from RM1.45 million.

The Bespoke AI Home appliances will be available for the Type B layout, and the selling price for Type B will start from RM1.82 million.
