• “We believe that Jaya Grocer will become a cornerstone of convenience, providing everyday essentials right at the doorstep of our residents and enriching the entire neighbourhood with its presence.”

KAJANG (Aug 13): Eco World Development Group Bhd (EcoWorld Malaysia) has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Jaya Grocer for its Se.duduk D’ Kajang development.

The MoA was inked last week by EcoWorld Malaysia deputy CEO Liew Tian Xiong and Jaya Grocer deputy CEO Daniel Teng at the Se.duduk Sales Gallery here.

“The introduction of this well-known supermarket chain is anticipated to significantly enhance the living experience not only for Se.duduk D’ Kajang residents but also for the surrounding neighbourhoods,” said EcoWorld Malaysia in a press release.

Jaya Grocer will occupy eight units within Se.duduk Square, a commercial area built to serve the residents’ daily needs.

“Se.duduk D’ Kajang is situated in a well-established residential area that has long needed a nearby commercial hub. The introduction of Jaya Grocer is not just about adding a supermarket — it is about elevating the quality of life for both our residents and the surrounding community.

“We believe that Jaya Grocer will become a cornerstone of convenience, providing everyday essentials right at the doorstep of our residents and enriching the entire neighbourhood with its presence,” Liew said in the statement.

The 6.92-acre Se.duduk D’ Kajang is anchored by a serviced apartment housing approximately 1,220 units. Upon its slated completion in 2027, it is set to host more than 2,500 residents.

“With just a one-to-two-minute walk from the apartments to Jaya Grocer, we are confident that this new addition to Se.duduk D’ Kajang will significantly enhance the convenience and quality of life for our residents,” said EcoWorld Malaysia division general manager Evon Yap in the same media release.

“At EcoWorld, we prioritise creating environments that are not only conducive to modern living but also thoughtfully integrated to meet the diverse needs of today’s families. We believe that the surrounding community will also benefit from this ideal blend of residential comfort and accessible commercial spaces, making Se.duduk D’ Kajang a vibrant and balanced community,” she added.

Se.duduk D’ Kajang is accessible via highways such as SILK (Kajang Dispersal Link Expressway), LEKAS (Kajang-Seremban Highway), PLUS and Grand Saga, besides public transit, including KTM Kajang 2 and MRT (mass rapid transit) Kajang stations, stated the developer.

Priced from RM400,000, the 1,000-sq ft units come with three bedrooms, two bathrooms and two car parks. The developer is also offering partial home furnishings such as air conditioning, lighting fixtures, clothes dryers, lower kitchen cabinets, and water heaters, as well as main door digital locksets.
