• EcoWorld has launched a new addition to its popular “duduk” series of vertical homes with the opening of an innovative sales gallery marked with sustainable features.

KAJANG (Feb 29): Eco World Development Group Bhd (EcoWorld) opened its latest sales gallery and the Se.duduk D’ Kajang sales gallery here today. Se.duduk will be the first of EcoWorld’s popular duduk projects to be located outside its established townships.

To date, a total of five duduk projects have been launched by EcoWorld, with another three coming up this year including Riang @ D’Eco Majestic at Semenyih, Selangor and Santai @ D’Eco Spring at Iskandar Malaysia.

“We are thrilled to unveil the new sale gallery and show unit for Se.duduk D’ Kajang,” said EcoWorld divisional general manager, Evon Yap, in her welcome speech. “At 6.92 acres, Se.duduk D’ Kajang is set to bring a breath of fresh air to Kajang with its lifestyle offerings and amenities.”

The gallery will be sustainably repurposed downstream into a commercial space for the residents of Se.duduk D’ Kajang, as part of EcoWorld’s latest ESG (environmental, social and corporate governance) practices. The building is also solar powered, with steel frames and utilises passive cooling techniques to enhance energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact.

Today’s event also saw the symbolic signing of two significant partnerships: one with EFS Revision Energy Sdn Bhd, providers of the galleries’ solar panels and renewable energy solutions; and another with Chef Kecik, a cafe also based in Eco Majestic.

“We are delighted to seal a partnership with EFS Revision Energy Sdn Bhd for the solarisation of EcoWorld's Se.duduk D' Kajang Sales Gallery, and we are honoured that this brilliant Malaysian grown brand, Chef Kecik, has chosen to journey with us at Se.duduk D’ Kajang,” said Yap.

In terms of commercial offerings in Se.duduk, Yap said exciting plans are in the pipeline for the community.

“Chef Kecil is the first commercial tenant that we have brought in to fill in the gap for good F&B outlets here. The next tenants we are planning to bring on board would be a grocer, pharmacies, healthcare outlets, kindergartens, and a home appliances & hardware store. But our current goal is to bring in more F&B outlets and a grocery store, that’s something that has immediate demand,” said Yap.
