• The updates include enhancement of the app’s user interface, partnering with more merchants through the Tresor Partnership Program for the benefit of the Tressorian community (member of UEM Sunrise's customer loyalty programme), and the ability to personalise the app according to needs

KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 11): UEM Sunrise Bhd unveiled an enhanced version of its virtual concierge app named hUb prop at Kiara Bay Sales Gallery, Kepong here on Thursday.

“Digitalisation has always been our top priority. We are committed to introducing cutting-edge solutions for our customers, and building an app that assists property investors and homeowners in navigating their home-ownership journey with ease and efficiency,” said UEM Sunrise chief executive officer Sufian Abdullah.

The updates include enhancement of the app’s user interface, partnering with more merchants through the Tresor Partnership Program for the benefit of the Tressorian community (member of UEM Sunrise's customer loyalty programme), and the ability to personalise the app according to needs, said UEM Sunrise director of digital technology and innovation department Hasniza Mohamed.

“We have revamped the user interface of the app based on customers' feedback. We have also expanded our [Tresor Partnership Program] by partnering with more merchants. We previously had nine partners, and now we have a total of 30 merchants in the programme. Besides that, users can also personalise the app, where they can choose what they want to see on the app. For example, those who already have a property with us can choose to see the progress of the development,” Hasniza explained.

Sufian added that environmental, social and governance (ESG) initiatives are also being promoted through the hUb prop app, with the ability to donate and plant new tropical trees and facilities under UEM Sunrise's tree planting programme taking place in the 300-acre (121.41-hectare) forest reserve known as Sireh Park in Johor.

Launched in 2019, hUb prop is a self-service channel for users to obtain selected services and information from UEM Sunrise.

“It was originally developed as a concierge to assist our customers in their property purchases and their journey with us. That has evolved, especially during the [Covid-19] pandemic, to be part of our marketing tool. Now, it is intended to enhance our value-added services through the partnership with several partners that will provide additional services,” said Sufian.

The app currently has close to 10,000 users, and 55% of them are active. The majority of the users are using the app for appointments of key handovers and defects management, said UEM Sunrise chief marketing officer Kenny Wong.

“With this revamp of the user interface, enhanced partnership programme as well as the ESG initiatives, we hope not just for more downloads, but increase active usage to about 70%,” said Wong.
