KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 4): SkyWorld Development Bhd has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the management corporation of its completed SkyLuxe on the Park Residences to provide an enhancement study to upgrade and optimise the development’s existing electric vehicle (EV) charging stations as part of its first Sustainable Community Living programme.
Starting off at SkyLuxe on the Park Residences, SkyWorld “will provide valuable research & development on sustainable best practices in strata developments for the benefit of the residents,” stated the developer in a media release.
Following the EV charging stations effort, other potential “upgrades” as part of the Sustainable Community Living are solar energy panels, artificial intelligent (AI) face recognition system, virtual fencing, autonomous cleaning robots, car plate recognition software, and sensor lighting.
These initiatives are in line with SkyWorld’s commitment to environment, social, governance (ESG) principles. Following this initiative at SkyLuxe on the Park Residences, SkyWorld will extend the Sustainable Community Living programme across all its other completed developments.
Lee Chee Seng, chief executive officer of SkyWorld Development, said at the signing ceremony that that true value of a development extends beyond the handover process.

Located in Bukit Jalil, SkyLuxe on the Park Residences commands a GDV of RM409.43 million. Built on 1.85 acres of freehold land, the development offers 477 units of apartments across two 40-storey towers.
Unit built ups range between 661 sq ft and 1,224 sq ft with six layouts and an additional 50 sub-unit layouts to choose from.
SkyLuxe on the Park Residences was completed in 2020 with a Quality Assessment System in Construction (QLASSIC) score of 85%, the highest score achieved that year for the residential category. The development is also 100% taken up.
