Xeranti to revive 20-year abandoned project in Serendah

• The development will span over 100 acres of leasehold land and be developed in five phases over seven years. It is located 1km from Rawang Bypass, and 2km from KTM Serendah station and the upcoming East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) Serendah station.

KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 10): Xeranti Sdn Bhd has been appointed by the Selangor Housing and Property Board to revitalise a 20-year abandoned expansion project in Kampung Serendah Perdana and Kampung Jawa (Desa Beringin) in Serendah, Selangor, during the briefing and explanation of the revitalisation and rehabilitation project event held on Aug 9, 2023.

The event was attended by caretaker Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amiruddin Shari and State Housing, Urban Well-being and Entrepreneur Development Committee chairperson Rodziah Ismail.

Committed to restoring the abandoned project, Xeranti executive chairman Basarudin Mohd Tapi said in a press statement dated Aug 10: “We aim to create a landmark that stands as a testament to innovation, quality and sustainability. The expansion project will significantly transform the suburban landscape into a vibrant community hub, providing relief and new opportunities to those who have waited so long for the completion of the project, he added.

According to the statement, the project will have a dedicated cooperative managed pre-school, solar roofing, 3R Centre and community farms.

Further details of the project are yet to be finalised as it is still in the planning stage.
