- Legoland Malaysia Resort divisional director CS Lim: We will continue to build on our fundamentals, and focus on our strategic priorities by investing in enhancing, expanding, and establishing new activities to provide our guests with a truly unique experience that is only available in Legoland
KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 11): Legoland Malaysia Resort has announced plans to enhance its theme park with new festive events and leisure activities, while also refurbish its Legoland Hotel rooms with new themes, to ride on the country’s tourism recovery.
These investments and enhancements are to align with the Khazanah Nasional Bhd-owned resort’s priorities to attract new and repeat visitations from domestic and international tourists, said Legoland Malaysia Resort divisional director CS Lim in a statement.
“We will continue to build on our fundamentals, and focus on our strategic priorities by investing in enhancing, expanding, and establishing new activities to provide our guests with a truly unique experience that is only available in Legoland,” he said, without revealing the investment amount.
These major enhancements, in conjunction with the resort’s 10-year anniversary, will provide visitors with new shades and cooling fans while browsing through iconic landmarks from January 2023.
The refurbishment of Legoland Hotel is expected to be done in the first quarter of next year, while visitors can look forward to the first-ever water park festival for special shows and activities by mid-2023.
Legoland will also make 4D movies available at its Lego Studio around the third quarter of next year.
“We are optimistic about the industry's recovery and look forward to supporting the tourism revitalising plans developed by the government,” said Lim.
