Dealing with multiple projects at the same time, celebrity-duo John Legend and Chrissy Teigen have listed their New York City penthouse for US$18 million (RM75.4 million) as they hardly have the time to oversee the renovation works, according to TopTenRealEstateDeals.com.

The couple had purchased two penthouse units with the initial goal of combining it together. Yet, they were not able to commit to the renovation works due to most of their time being spent on the other side of the country.

In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Legend said: “We’ve realised that because of work and everything, we’re really mostly going to be in Los Angeles. So, we’re going to focus our home-building energy and renovation energy on what we’re doing in LA.”

An adjoined penthouse, its space boasts a spacious 6,164 sq ft that comes with six bedrooms and seven bathrooms. Not just being spacious, the home is also well-lit with enough sun rays to enter the house from its large windows.

The entire house was designed with a flair of urban-style rusticity as observed on its walls, hardwood floors and a large three-sided fireplace. The house also comes with a wine cellar, the cellar has a unique touch of a glass-front.

A landscaped roof terrace is also present where family and friends could enjoy a nice hangout in the sunshine or have a casual barbecue weekend.

Located in Lower Manhattan, the penthouse is part of the Nolita project which was built in the 1900. While the couple may have listed the penthouse on the market, nonetheless, they are still on the lookout for another home in the Big Apple - one that does not involve much renovation work.
