JOHOR BAHRU (July 23): Time Magazine has named Desaru Coast integrated resort as one of its “World’s Greatest Places of 2021”, reported Free Malaysia Today.
According to the report, the list was compiled by Time Magazine’s international network of correspondents and industry experts, naming 100 of the top destinations all over the world. The list was published on July 20, 2021.
Desaru Coast is the only destination in Malaysia named in the list this year. Other than Time Magazine, the integrated resort is highly recommended by tourists as a vacation destination for beach-goers, golfers and nature lovers.
Desaru Coast is also home to luxury hotels such as One and Only Desaru Coast, Anantara Desaru Coast Resort and Villas, The Westin Desaru Coast Resort and Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast.
Desaru Coast Destination Resort managing director and CEO Roslina Arbak told the news portal that it is an outstanding achievement for a team which had only operated for two years, and after what has been and continues to be a challenging time for the industry.
“With this notable feather in our cap, we look forward to welcoming guests from all over the world once travel resumes,” she said.
