KUALA LUMPUR (March 27): All projects under Budget 2020 to proceed, including East Coast Rail Link (ECRL), MRT2 and the National Fiberisation and Connectivity Plan (NFCP) will go even with Putrajaya’s RM250 billion economic stimulus package to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic.

“The government will continue implementing projects where allocations were given in Budget 2020 including the East Coast Rail Link , the MRT2 and the National Fiberisation and Connectivity Plan.

“This is in line with the government’s focus to ensure sustainable economic growth,” said Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said when he announced the stimulus package during a national broadcast this afternoon.
