KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 29): PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim stated in a tweet that more lawmakers will be joining their side after Baru Bian's defection “allegedly” gave Pakatan Harapan 114 MPs in support of Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad as prime minister, reported Malaysiakini.
Selangau MP Baru was reported to have signed a declaration (pictured) supporting Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad as prime minister.
Earlier, Lembah Pantai MP Fahmi Fadzil claimed that Dr Mahathir has the support of 114 Dewan Rakyat lawmakers, as a result of Baru switching camps.
