KUALA LANGAT (Jan 14): With a total of 103 facilities, LBS Bina Group Bhd’s BSP21 project has entered the Malaysia Book of Records with the ‘Most Number of Facilities in Residential Development’ in the country.
Located on a 21-acre land in Bandar Saujana Putra, Selangor, the fully completed leasehold BSP21 comprises 2,602 serviced apartments spread over 10 blocks of 18 and 27 storeys. It has a gross development value of RM1.4 billion.
The apartments sit on top three podiums that are connected via sky bridges and green spaces. It offers 103 facilities and amenities across eight acres of space including a spectacular swimming pool the size of 19 badminton courts as well as a 66,000 sq ft, four-level clubhouse.
“Our entry into the Malaysia Book of Records is testament of our commitment to strive to build sustainable homes with the community at heart.
“We took a fresh approach to put in place a wide array of facilities to provide more opportunities for community binding and interaction, and at the same time, minimise the need for residents to travel out of their homes to meet their lifestyle needs,” said LBS group managing director Tan Sri Lim Hock San in his speech at a certificate presentation ceremony at BSP21 today.
Also at the event were Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari, founder and advisor of Malaysia Book of Records Tan Sri Danny Ooi and its chief operating officer Christopher Wong, Selangor State secretary Datuk Mohd Amin Ahmad Ahya, Menteri Besar Incorporated chief operating officer Soffan Affendi Amirudin, Permodalan Negeri Selangor Bhd chief financial officer Mohd Helmi Mohd Yusof and Kuala Langat district officer Mohd Jusni Hashim.
In his speech, Amirudin urged developers to provide competitive products and services to attract buyers and enhance the state’s living environment quality.
Commenting on the delay of the construction of the flyover connecting Bandar Saujana Putra with the South Klang Valley Expressway and North-South Expressway Central Link (ELITE), Amirudin said construction work will be starting soon.
“The flyover which will be built by LBS was supposed to start end of last year. It was delayed as we needed time to obtain all the necessary approvals from the highway companies.
“We have gotten all the approvals already and the construction work will begin soon,” he said, adding that the flyover is expected to be completed by 2021.
