KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 18): Auto Bavaria has partnered Affin Group to expand electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, aiming to make EV ownership more accessible.

Auto Bavaria managing director Vi Thim Juan, in a statement on Wednesday, said the main goal of this partnership is to improve the availability of EV charging facilities across Malaysia. This is to support the country’s shift towards electrified mobility, reducing carbon emissions in the transportation sector.

As part of this initiative, Auto Bavaria and Affin will install seven alternative current (AC) chargers and one direct current (DC) charger at the EV charging stations located at Menara Affin in Tun Razak Exchange.

Affin Bank Bhd (KL:AFFIN) president and group chief executive officer Datuk Wan Razly Abdullah said, “Our collaboration reaffirms Affin’s unwavering commitment to our ESG agenda, creating a positive impact for the future while providing a seamless and convenient customer experience.”
