KUALA LUMPUR (April 6): Nor Hasnidar Bahari got the shock of her life when she received her February water bill: It was RM1,967.45, or more than 200 times the normal amount.

But things ended up well for the retired civil servant who lives in Pandan Indah flats, Ampang, when Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd conducted a second meter reading and a new water bill was issued, reported The Star today.

“Another meter reading was taken and a new water bill was issued. We take that this matter has been resolved,” Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd Customer Relationship and Communication Department head Abdul Raof Ahmad told the daily.

Nor Hasnidar also thanked Pandan MCA division chairman Datuk Leong Kok Wee for highlighting her plight to Pengurusan Air Selangor and the media for assisting her.
