SHAH ALAM (Dec 16): EcoWorld Malaysia and MAPLEHOME have inked an MoU to provide hassle-free property management and maximise returns involving two key projects: Luna and Se.Ruma.

Established in 2018, MAPLEHOME manages over 2,100 rooms all over Malaysia. It provides end-to-end property management services to property owners, from furnishing the unit after vacant possession to managing short-term rentals, in-house cleaning, and maintenance.

“We were seeking a short-term stay management company to manage both projects, as we believe this would be an effective marketing tool and a value-added service, giving our customers another compelling reason to purchase EcoWorld properties. MAPLEHOME’s reputation and track record aligned perfectly with our requirements,” said Datuk Ho Kwee Hong, divisional general manager of EcoWorld Malaysia.

Ho said: “These unique residences cater to investors looking for strong rental potential, homeowners wanting to rent out extra units while maintaining privacy and security, and multigenerational families where elderly parents can live with their children while maintaining independence. Each serviced apartment contains three studio units, each equipped with a kitchenette and en-suite bathroom, offering optimal.”

She added that this flexible living option allows owners to rent out part or all of their serviced apartment for short- or long-term stays to offset loan repayments or supplement their income.

“With this concept, residents can earn up to three  times rental income while managing only one loan instalment, one utility bill, one quit rent, and one maintenance fee — making property management smart, simple, and stress-free.”

“EcoWorld’s unique residential concept, featuring the first three-key serviced apartments in Setia Alam and south of Kota Kemuning, offers a wider variety of rooms and competitive rental rates. We hope this collaboration will be a catalyst for MAPLEHOME’s growth, strengthening our profile and competitiveness in the market,” said Danny Hor, founder and managing director of MAPLEHOME.

Luna (in Eco Ardence) comprises 425 units of three-key serviced apartment and 150 units of one-bedroom serviced apartment.

Luna is the first in Setia Alam to have a three-key serviced apartment concept and enjoys easy access to facilities at Maya Square. These include a drive-thru, shops and an education centre, bringing greater convenience to the owners and tenants. This project also shares club facilities with Maya Square and Maya Offices which include a swimming pool, gymnasium, and playground.

Meanwhile, Se.Ruma is a micro-integrated development with lifestyle facilities within Eco Sanctuary’s commercial hub. As the first three-key concept project, Se.Ruma offers one serviced apartment with three studio units.

Se.Ruma comprises 231 units of three-key apartments, 189 three-bedroom units and 63 one-bedroom units, totalling 483 residential units.
