PUCHONG (Feb 17): Housing and Local Government secretary-general Datuk Seri Mohammad Mentek visited property portal EdgeProp.my's exhibition booth at the Community Carnival Exhibition held in conjunction with the launch of Dasar Komuniti Negara or National Community Policy (DKN) today. 

On hand to welcome him was EdgeProp.my product development & customer advisory senior manager Elizabeth Lay.   

The booth highlighted EdgeProp.my's role in supporting the DKN including raising awareness of the policy and the needs of PPR residents, as well as to connect the private sector with KPKT to ensure the success of CSR initiatives to be rolled out under the DKN.

It has also created a dedicated website on the DKN www.EdgeProp.my/DKN to provide a summary of its objectives, why it is needed and how the public and companies can help.

EdgeProp.my was among more than 40 participating exhibitors which included property developers, non-governmental organisations and public service bodies.    

The DKN which aims to uplift the lives and living environment of B40 groups especially in PPRs, is initiated by KPKT, and was officially launched earlier by Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
