HULU LANGAT (Jan 6): Economic Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Azmin Ali today called on property developers to be more opened to “disruptive technology” to transform the industry.
In a report by the Malay Mail news portal, Azmin said that such technology can also help in creating more affordable housing in the country.
"The government must find a way how we can use these new disruptive technology such as artificial intelligence, Big Data analysis to transform the housing eco-system in Malaysia which is developing today.
"Therefore, developers in Malaysia should quickly adopt disruptive technology to begin transforming the housing sector as an answer to provide more affordable homes,” he said while officiating the handing over of keys to the new owners of Simfoni Apartments by built by Eco World Development Group Bhd here. Simfoni Apartments is part of the Eco Majestic development in Semenyih.
Simfoni Apartments is the first of EcoWorld's affordable homes development under the Selangor government’s Rumah SelangorKu programme.
The project comprises 870 units in three blocks, with each unit sized at 750 sq ft with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, and priced at RM100,000.
