SUBANG JAYA (August 30): A Swedish student at a private college here fell to his death from the 22nd floor of an apartment building at Jalan Subang 1 here, early today, reports the NST.

Averdal Avele Adam, 22 years old, suffered severe injuries in the fall, and died at the scene.

Subang Jaya Fire and Rescue Department deployed eight personnel in one engine and an EMRS vehicle, in response to the 5.24am distress call.

“When we arrived at the location, we found the victim lying on a section of the ground floor veranda of the apartment building.

“We took several minutes to remove his body from the location.

“We then handed it over to the police for further action,” Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director of operations, Mohd Rizal Buang, said to the NST when contacted.
