PETALING JAYA (June 21): Housing and Local Government Minister Zuraida Kamaruddin has paid a courtesy call on Sarawak Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg today, following the lifting of her travel ban to the state.
The meeting took place at his office in the State Legislative Assembly building in Petra Jaya at around 10am, reported Bernama.
Also present were Sarawak Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian, Federal Housing and Local Government Ministry secretary-general Datuk Mohammad Mantek, PKR Sarawak chairman Baru Bian, vice-chairman See Chee How and other senior leaders of the party.
This followed a closed-door meeting between Zuraida and Sim at Bangunan Baitul Makmur in Petra Jaya.
The federal minister and her delegation then proceeded to Padawan Municipal Council at Batu 10, Jalan Penrissen at Kota Padawan as part of their working visit.
