PETALING JAYA (Nov 22): SkyWorld Development Group's SkyAwani 3 Residences Block A was 90% booked within three hours of its 673 units opening for selection, said the developer in a press statement today.

The Setapak high-rise development, which falls under the Rumawip affordable housing scheme, drew a crowd of over 1,000 with some registrants showing up at 6.30am, claimed the developer.

“Last Sunday marked another milestone for SkyWorld. We are so thankful for the overwhelming response and we are proud to say that despite SkyAwani being a corporate social responsibility project under the Rumawip affordable home programme, we remain steadfast to our commitments of delivering value for money property without compromising on quality and aesthetics,” said SkyWorld COO Lee Chee Seng.

“SkyAwani 3 boasts all our SkyWorld strengths — quality QLASSIC workmanship, unique design and good potential appreciation value given its strategic location of just 5km distance to KLCC,” he added.

The project offers 1,905 units, each with a standard built-up of 800 sq ft and a layout of three rooms and two bathrooms at a fixed price of RM300,000.

Among the project’s features are the country’s longest sky gardens across three inter-connected 51-storey towers with over 20 facilities.

It is coming up on a 4.55-acre leasehold site and has an estimated GDV of RM570 million.
