KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 21): Mitrajaya Holdings Bhd has bagged a RM159.39 million contract to undertake superstructure works for an office tower development at Bandar Medini, Iskandar Malaysia, Johor.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, Mitrajaya said its wholly-owned subsidiary Pembinaan Mitrajaya Sdn Bhd has accepted the award from Medini Development Sdn Bhd.

The contract will commence on Jan 17, 2017 and is expected to be completed by Jan 16, 2019.

"The contract is expected to contribute positively to Mitrajaya Group's future earnings," it said.

Shares in Mitrajaya closed down one sen or 0.81% at RM1.22 today, with 343,200 shares traded. It has a market value of RM816.35 million. — theedgemarkets.com
