According to NAPIC, Malaysia has as many as 43,211 unsold residential units worth a total of RM29.47 billion. On the other hand, consumers have been lamenting that property prices are too high and are no longer affordable. The HOC aims to bridge that gap.
To date, some 17,000 residential units have been registered for sale under the HOC.
