Najib is claiming trial before High Court judge Justice Mohamed Zaini Mazlan today to tampering with the final 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) audit report while Ahmad Zahid is claiming trial today to 47 charges.

ASM Development also accuses IJSB of delaying completion of the works, and also claims the undertaken works were defective.

This follows High Court Justice Mohd Nazlan Mohd Ghazali’s decision yesterday to dismiss the defence’s application for a stay of proceedings.

PNSB Acmar Sdn Bhd, a unit of Bandar Baru Klang township developer Acmar Group, named Prasarana and SunCon’s unit Sunway Construction Sdn Bhd (SCSB) as defendants in the suit filed on Thursday, SunCon said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday.

"When we look at it, what has sustained our growth are the diversified nature of our economic structure and the diversified nature of our exports in terms of our products and markets, which have helped cushion the impact of a more challenging external environment."

GDB said the construction work of the 3S (sales, service and spare parts) Autohaus comprises a seven-storey block, which consists of a ground floor and six storeys with two mezzanine floors, as well as a rooftop.

"We are not on any preset course. We continue to monitor the external developments and how they may affect our outlook for growth and inflation.”

In a statement today, Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) said this was primarily due to lower growth in the nation's key sectors and decline in mining and construction activities. Most domestic demand components and net exports also registered slower growth. On a quarter-on-quarter seasonally-adjusted basis, the economy grew 0.9%, the central bank said.

Solarvest's IPO for its Bursa Malaysia ACE Market listing involves a public issue of 98.83 million new shares at 35 sen each to raise RM34.59 million for the company.
