There are a total of 12,079 positive Covid-19 cases confirmed at workplace-related clusters, involving 4,398 Malaysians and 7,681 foreigners.
To date, some 5,777 individuals in the cluster have been screened, and 4,036 positive cases have been detected so far.
Most of the cases from this cluster are the factory workers in Meru, located in Klang. All positive cases were hospitalised and their close contacts were quarantined to prevent the spread of infections
The bulk of the new cases were found in Selangor, with a record 1,203 reported in the most populous state.

Yesterday, the Teratai cluster reported 504 new cases.
With today's new record, Selangor’s cases surpassed the 311 latest infections reported in Sabah.
The country also recorded 1,405 recoveries in the past 24 hours — its highest in a day since the pandemic struck Malaysia in January — bringing total recoveries to date to 40,493 or 75.43% of overall infections.
