In a bourse filing, BLand said its 80%-owned subsidiary, BDS Smart City Co Ltd, has served a written notice on the Yangon Region Government (YRG) to terminate the concession agreement due to non-fulfilment of conditions. The agreement was signed on Feb 7, 2020.

Quarterly revenue rose 13.67% year-on-year (y-o-y) to RM537.42 million from RM472.78 million. The company proposed a first and final dividend of 2.65 sen per share, which is equivalent to a 4% dividend yield based on its closing price of 66 sen on Feb 24.

Quarterly revenue declined 26.1% to RM233.09 million from RM315.41 million mainly due to lower recognition from the group’s industrial and commercial product

In a trading stocks note today, the research house said if the bullish momentum persists above that level, the stock may climb towards the next resistance level of 56 sen, followed by 59 sen.

NWP Resources had defaulted on payment of outstanding rentals from October 2021 to February 2022, as well as service charges and default interest totaling RM2.6 million for the premise in Block A, Desa Commercial Centre, on Feb 8.

In contrast, its quarterly revenue slipped 4.98% to RM124.28 million from RM130.79 million on a year-on-year (y-o-y) basis mainly due to lower occupancy rates because of non-renewal of expired tenancies and some tenants deferring their rent commencement dates.

In a bourse filing, Haily said its wholly-owned Haily Construction Sdn Bhd has accepted the letter of award for the new job from DP Architects Sdn Bhd on behalf of Country View Bhd's unit Country View Resources Sdn Bhd to build phase one of a tourist strata development located in Aurora Sentral, Pulai.

The property development arm of the Hong Leong Group posted earnings per share of 0.56 sen compared with earnings per loss of 1.7 sen previously.

This will allow construction work on Section C2 — which starts in Gombak and passes through Serendah, Puncak Alam and Kapar before ending in Port Klang — to begin in the first quarter of 2022.
