The four appeals is in relation to Najib's seven charges of CBT and abuse of power regarding RM42 million of SRC International funds.
Najib wants to disqualify former Federal Court judge Datuk Seri Gopal Sri Ram from leading the prosecution team and also a stay to stop the trial pending the Court of Appeal's decision.
Umno was also ordered to pay cost of RM7,000 to the government.
The prosecution team led by former Federal Court Judge Datuk Seri Gopal Sri Ram told the High Court that they will make the application for a joint trial after all three cases had been transferred to the High Court before Justice Mohamed Zaini Mazlan.
Deputy public prosecutors Zaki Asyraf Zubir and Aaron Abhilash Paul Chelliah, who appeared on behalf of the AGC, told the Sessions Court today that the prosecution did have some documents but just not the full set.
"The application was dismissed by KL High Court last Friday (March 1). Najib subsequently filed an appeal application in Court of Appeal on the same day and asking for a stay."
The KDN suspended the publication permit of The Edge Weekly and The Edge Financial Daily for three months from July 27, 2015, following their reports on the 1MDB issue.
