This resulted in a higher earnings per share of 4.05 sen for 2QFY19 compared with 3.07 sen for 2QFY18.
In a statement, the Finance Ministry said prices per litre of RON95 and diesel remain at RM2.08 and RM2.18 respectively.

"The non-compliance (by the prosecution) does not justify the striking out of the notice. I direct that the notice be amended if (the prosecution) so wishes within seven days of today.
"The application by Umno Pekan to strike out (the notice of forfeiture) is dismissed," said Justice Mohd Nazlan Mohd Ghazali in his brief oral decision.
Revenue for the quarter rose 33% year-on-year (y-o-y) to RM336.4 million from RM252.9 million.
Save for its property and utilities business segments, YTL Corp recorded positive growth in profit before tax (PBT) in all its business divisions during the quarter.
Revenue fell 11% to RM47.26 million from RM52.98 million previously.
The bank has appeared as a third party to claim funds totalling RM1.99 million under the names of four parties in the suit.
