KUALA LUMPUR: One of the largest and most prestigious equestrian and luxury residential properties in Australia is being offered for sale.

According to Savills Western Australia, Devereaux Farm (pictured) in Western Australia, just 60 minutes from the Perth CBD, features some of the country’s leading equine and polo facilities, prime cattle grazing land and luxury accommodation within a secure and private environment. It carries a total price expectation in excess of A$60 million (RM166 million).

Set on 2,470ha of land at Wilson and Smiths Roads in Bullsbrook, the property is one of the most exclusive real estate opportunities to ever come on the market in Western Australia, said Miles Rowe, Divisional Director Investment Sales at Savills in a recently released statement.

The property fronts the Avon and Brockman Rivers and features two seven and eight-bedroom residences, two swimming pools, a tennis court, an airstrip and two helipads.

The equestrian facilities include 12 sets of stables and one of the premier polo fields in Western Australia. The farm is also utilised for beef cattle production and export.

“Devereaux Farm represents a very substantial and prestigious rural land holding… We expect the property to attract strong national and international buyer interest,” said Rowe.

The property is held in 15 certifications of Title. It is available in one line or separately, with potential for future sub-division. Devereaux Farm is currently owned by Monaco-based Australian mining, property and cattle entrepreneur Ric Stowe.

The property is marketed by Savills Western Australia and William Porteous Properties International, via an International Expressions of Interest campaign closing on June 12, 2010.
